Store Information

Where is your store located?
It is located on 1428 Mackay street, in the corner of Ste Catherine street (Montreal downtown). The closest metro station is Guy (green line) and the store is right outside the Concordia's Engineering and Arts building. There is a Bixi station on both ends of Mackay streets, payable indoor parking and street parking available.

What are the opening hours?
We are open on weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 9H AM to 9H PM and on weekends (Sat-Sun) from 11H AM to 8H PM.
During Summer, we open from 10H AM to 10H PM on weekdays and from 11H AM to 8H PM on weekends.

Do you only sell tea at your store?
Definitely not! Although tea is our main business, we also serve over a dozen variety of cakes and pastries including our famous Chai Scones, Matcha Opera cake, Mango Mousse Cheesecake, Green Tea Brownies and Green Tea Ice Cream, just to name a few. We also serve vegan and vegetarian-friendly lunch sets.

Is there free Wi-Fi at your store?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi for Concordia students.

Can I host an event?
Yes, we have hosted many students' events and fundraising events. Please contact info@thekiosque.ca for reservations.

What are the health benefits of tea?
There are numerous studies that demonstrate the anti-cancer properties of antioxidant polyphenols. Tea contains more polyphenols than most fruits and vegetables.They are also known for boosting the rate of metabolism, strengthening the immune system, protecting against diabetes and heart diseases, and much more. Does your teas contain nuts?
There is always a risk of our teas being in contact with nut products. If you have a nut allergy, we do not recommend that you drink our teas.

Does your teas contain lactose?
Our teas with vanilla, cream, chocolate and caramel base contain traces of dairy products.

What is the currency of the prices?
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CDN).

Is it safe to shop online?
We keep all your information private and secure. All orders are placed through our secure server and we will not release any information to any third party.

What are your payment options?
We accept PayPal payment and major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Are there any sales tax?
There is no tax on tea purchases. For all other merchandise purchases, GST and PST will be charged where is required by law.

What are your shipping rates?
Our shipping prices are very reasonable: Within Canada, Regular Ground rate (5 to 9 days) starts at $6.95 and Express Air rate (1 to 3 days) starts at $9.95. Shipping is based on weight and distance.

To the United States, Regular Ground rate (9 to 14 days) is $8.50 and Express Air rate (1 to 3 days) starts at $11.95. At this time, we only ship within Canada and the United States. Orders of $50 or more qualify for free Regular Ground shipping within Canada and the United States.
